Kimberly Petschen came full circle... back to the intuitive, truth-seeing child she was before the world taught her to measure her worth through performance.
She spent more than three decades guiding complex change inside Fortune-level organizations while simultaneously carrying the full weight of single parenthood through betrayal, hardship, and loss. She rose anyway. She achieved anyway. And she paid the full price that systems extract from those who give everything while carrying everything.
Then one day she walked away. She drove across America, sat with the land, and listened to what had been trying to reach her for five decades.
What came through became this body of work.
Her path bridges systems and soul (enterprise transformation at the highest levels, and the deeply human work of restoration). What she offers today is not a departure from her former life.
It is its evolution.

From the age of four, Kimberly saw the truth and light in every human being she encountered. She was a free spirit, a natural healer, a child who felt everything deeply and understood more than anyone around her realized.
Then life happened. Decades of conditioning, systems, structures, and survival. She learned to perform, to achieve, to adapt. She became excellent at things that were slowly asking her to leave herself behind.
The little girl in this photo never left though. She waited. She was patient. She knew her time was coming.
After five decades of living, she came back for her.
That reunion became the foundation of everything Kimberly now offers. She knows what it costs to abandon yourself in order to succeed. She knows what it takes to find your way back. And she knows that the truest version of you has been waiting just as patiently.
how it all started
Since the age of four, Kimberly has been a visionary who could see the truth and light in every human being she encountered. That way of seeing never left her. It simply learned how to move within systems that measured value in very different ways.
For more than thirty-five years, she led transformational work inside some of the most recognized organizations in the world, including AT&T Entertainment Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Universal Orlando Parks Technology, Disney Parks and Resorts Digital, and FOX Corporation, where she served as Vice President of Agile Delivery. She coached, trained, and mentored more than 4,500 professionals across twenty-five Fortune 100 companies and twenty-seven small businesses, guiding enterprise change, building agile cultures from the ground up, managing multi-million-dollar portfolios, and leading large-scale teams through complex moments that required both precision and humanity.
All the while, the healer within her was gathering strength.
In 2020, Absence of War LLC was formed as the legal foundation for what was emerging. In 2023, she stepped fully away from corporate life and took to the road. Across the years that followed, she traveled the country listening to the land, deepening her intuitive practice, expanding her coaching hours, earning her ICF PCC credential, and developing and teaching corporate and college-level curricula. She continues to mentor coaches toward PCC-level mastery and facilitate experiences that transform how people understand themselves and the systems they serve.
Presents of Peace took its first breath in 2025, born from that journey and from a lifetime of lived leadership, personal healing, and spiritual integration.
Today Kimberly teaches, speaks, and guides individuals and groups through work that restores the human being to the center of leadership, performance, and community. She lives close to the land, still listening, still learning, and still bringing that wisdom back to the people and institutions ready for a new way forward.
